Art Glass Demonstration from Birddog Glass

The hottest art gallery in town.

When looking for artists in La Grande one does not have to inquire many times before hearing of Kevin Boylan and his glass studio, Birddog Glass located at 702 Adams Ave – just off the first La Grande exit if traveling east on I-84.

The EOU alumni has made La Grande home for the past 20 years, and recently opened up his own studio and gallery, while in doing so adding some vibrancy to a previously overlooked section of our historic downtown.

Cold Coffee Media caught up with Kevin and his assistant Maggie Yeates (also a budding glass artist), for a walk-through of a project that they were working on that day. Watch the video below to see the process of creating an art glass piece, and check out their new studio located in the heart of Downtown La Grande!

La Grande, Oregon is rich with artistic talent. Stop in to Birddog Glass to see what they are blowing next. Connect with the artists on social media @birddogglass @boylanstudios @kboyartglass or at Boylan’s website kevinboylanglass.com.
